Hampta Pass Trek

Adventure isn’t about climbing and trekking, it is all about what you do that makes you alive!

This post is all about my first Himalayan trek and that is 7 days long trail between mountains and beautiful scenery – Hampta Pass trek.

Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024

Running is always one’s passion for growth. It’s a test of one’s own limits and desires.

First Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024 with a pace of 6:11 min/km. I completed this half marathon in 2 hours 11 minutes with a few pause for hydration and balancing the steps. The journey was hell of an experience and solitude for all the runners who were participated in the TMM 2024.

Born To Explore

“Down to Gehenna, or up to the Throne, He travels the fastest who travels alone.” – General Erinmore (1917 movie).

It always reminds me where ever I want to go, I go fastest and quickly. Previous to this, in the rainy season, I went to explore Kalsubai Peak and it was so wonderful and blissful at the top. Nevertheless, the expected crowd is much hazier but it good as silence. The pleasant smell of soil after the fresh rain on the mountain and breezy air wake up the living soul. Stepping up the stairs while roaring up the sky, the weather is moving loud and windy.

While climbing to the summit, on a narrow and wide ridge, the intensity of air went high, and suddenly the surrounding became foggy, and visibility dropped very low. There I found myself so close, and ming got numb. Once I reached the top, there I found peace and enjoyed the wind that struck like a bullet from a gun.

Sunset, scenery and silence

Sunset view

Sometimes you just go solo and be there with you when it’s needed the most. The moment you talk to yourself, is the best thing you get in response. Watching sunrise from the top of the mountain is somewhere the best memories you get when you travel alone. You may get scare, you may get lost, but you are with yourself! This is where you find yourself, the powerful in the world. Just get going, and conquer the world.

Always be Humble and Gentle

In life, you got a few things to do – to live to the fullest and survive the known world. Whatever comes in our way has a purpose, so live with it. Dare to dream and to explore the unexplored. The world is vast, and nothing can stop you here.

fly high and remember your worth

“If you were a bird, how high would you fly?”

Ever felt low and dull while conquering height and top of our life. Yeah!! In that situation always remember, you and only you are responsible for your life and everything once can be dreamt of! Fly high and make all things possible. Wherever and whatever you are dreaming and planning to achieve, just go for it. Open your heart and listen to your inner voice… Lights will guide you home. A few months ago in the winter session, I camp and trek Sahyadri’s mountain range and I was attracted to the beauty of sunrise and these mountains within me. I was so surprised that I wave my hands up in the air and welcomed the lights to submerge within me.

Dream high enough and make it bold, so you fear every night if you haven’t succeeded in it. The right choice is always within us, so why not adventure finds it. Be prepared for tomorrow, but ready for anything which comes in our way.

Live life as it is!!

for a minute there, I lost myself

I’ll look back on this and smile because it was Life and I decided to Live it.

In this life, there is a moment where you find a problem to solve the puzzle. While solving, you will be confused! Yes, I am too. People’ are afraid to make mistakes and when it happens it’s too difficult to handle it. Right now what happening around us, it may be a mistake but what happens after that is terrible to everyone, right? When I think about these problems I lost myself into deep thoughts.

While traveling 4000 miles across two continents, I went to see and to feel how distance apart from their soul with the beauty of nature. This road is made up of strong discipline and divided by the boundaries of metal barriers. Though the farm is huge in Herefordshire (United Kingdom), the beauty itself speaks a lot. The glorious dawn and early walk is the best way to enter nature to feel a positive energy inside me, and at that moment I lost myself into the woods.

Exploring old albums, you might get lots of feeling how strong and find how potential you are, but I find myself how much determination and enthusiasm I had while climbing my own Everest of life. The above picture shows how much I love myself trying to get a perfect click of my shoes and the height I reach high above. The stillness around me indicates how pleasant the ascend is and how much struggle one can have while reaching to the top.

Dirt, Sweat, and Accomplish

Trekking shoes or Running shoes! What do you think?

Trekking vs Running Shoes

Life isn’t perfect but your shoes can be. I just realized that it has been six months since the global pandemic disturbed your real-life or ordinary life. Since then everything changed and our life has stuck in work from home things rather than being active on the street or on the mountain. As for me, I haven’t run a mile or gone (stepped out) for a hike since the lockdown. I know it’s weird but that’s life. What we can do now is to prepare ourselves for tomorrow, so we can get going. I found my trekking shoe on the shoe rack and finally got my new pair for running for the upcoming new race. I’m ready for tomorrow, are you?

“Why am I running
From the one I need the most
I keep running
Goin back to what I know
So why am I running
From the one I need the most
I keep running – running”

Reach Your Peaks

To travel, to experience and learn: that is to live. To those who want to stay alive, they hike the highest mountains to feel the feeling of an early morning sunrise. My journey to find the most active adventure is amazing as it always the unexpected to go. The plans were made at the last moment and the decision is always mine to go. The rest have to join or they lose the most important tragedies when I speak to them via my blogs or Instagram posts. Mountain always surprise us while climbing up, as it’s all about spiritual and meditation towards one’s own journey.

A Panoramic view from the top

Last month while climbing the highest mountain of the Indian state of Maharashtra Mt. Kalsubai, I felt and I was stunned while exploring the base village. It was not just me who want to do night trek and to see the early morning sunrise, there are more than three hundred trekkers and hikers at the same place. Though it was crowded, everyone was so excited to hike up that mountain. We had planned this trek only a few days ago and got a friend’s car to go on our night ride to base village. It was not our first night out but the fun we had throughout is something different. We started our trek at 3:00 AM where we were lost into the wild and the cold chilly climate escape helps us to achieve what we want to do.

All ready to take memories

The darkest nights produce the brightest stars. As we moved up, we found tremendous challenges and build the possibilities of how we can attain the hardest to climb. I was the first to reach the top of the peak around 05:30 AM and found out there are many others already on the top since the last night. I rest on the top and waiting for my friends to join me to see the early sunrise from the top of Maharashtra. Even so, it was dark on the top there were people up there with few small stalls of Tea and Breakfast.

People were chanting and singing songs which were so positive in mind and it was the windy and cold climate too. I was like where am I and with just one sweatshirt and a hoodie on my body to survive the cold weather on the top of the mountain. Suddenly the whole senses change when the Sun about to rises from the cloud. Trekkers and Hikers ready with their camera and taking the time-lapse of how beautiful the daylight was and what we are about to see.

Stay who you are!

Embrace the detours. Life was meant for great adventures and to feel the energy of winning the big race. To a great traveler, one life is very small to explore all. So much world, so little time.

Walking The English Countryside

In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.’

Walking towards nature is not just a place to visit. It is a home for a traveler like us. I go to nature to be soothed and healed and to have my thoughts put in order. Whether you go to the forest or walk towards the huge farm, you always find the inner peace and the feeling of more to explore.

Farm view with beautiful Sunset

The English countryside is the natural haven on Earth that feels a world away from the city’s busy places. For finding peace and to discover the balmy environment, one has to travel and drive outside the city’s hullabaloo. Fresh air, nature’s greetings with the cold breeze and a huge field roadside to walk is the only thing, we all want in life, right? And yes, I traveled alone to get these to accomplish my bucket-list.

A walk into the wild

A nature walk is a precious time to explore and realize how different the world is! In the above pictures, you can differentiate the city walk and the countryside walk where the distance is the same but the fun is unalike. A peaceful walk with one side is a huge farm and the other side is a beautiful tree where you can walk several miles without knowing how much time you spend and where you were heading. A city walks with a decent hubbub where you can see lots of similar faces around with close-door buildings and regular trees to feel the same.

A fantastic selfie on a wonderful country-side walk

Travel is not about finding yourself in this big world, but to remember who you are! We are the only distraction in life, but if we overcome these, we can achieve anything. Just get going for what we came this far from.
